At First Congregational United Church of Christ we offer a wide variety of events and programs for kids of all ages. Holyland Xpress is our Sunday School program which starts with Creation Station, for children from infants through Kindergarten age. We offer a nursery for our youngest children, and a room for 2-3 year olds, and one for 4 year olds-kindergarten age children. The children learn through play, story time and crafts.

Holyland Xpress is for our 1st-6th graders and is a "workshop rotation model". A unit of study is presented to the children by the use of multi-dimensional workshops to illustrate the Bible passages and objectives. The workshops include art, drama, puppetry, games, Bible study, storytelling, cooking and video. At the end of the children's sermon each conductor takes their group of children to their workshop. The children are with the same conductor each week so they can develop a relationship with their teacher and children in their group.

In addition to Sunday School we also have a wonderful half-day and full-day preschool, childcare and kindergarten that are all part of the Family Life Program. After children have completed our Holyland Express program they begin confirmation classes in 7th grade. It is a two-year program that includes retreats, classes about the Bible, and participation in service projects. For our older kids we also have a wonderful youth group that holds many fun and diverse events throughout the year. The events and programs take place at our church and at other various locations depending on the type of event.
